Multi-Tier Applications are Ready

Beta Users can now provision new Multi-Tier Applications. The following applications can be provisioned in our DMC:

• LAMP Application

The ScaleUp LAMP Application consists of an inbound firewall gateway, a webserver (Apache and PHP5) and a MySQL database server. Please see the following diagram.


• WordPress Application

ScaleUp WordPress Application consists of the same servers as the LAMP Application. However, there is a preinstalled WordPress for you to use.

• TWiki Application

Our ScaleUp TWiki Application has an inbound firewall gateway, a webserver with preinstalled TWiki, a NAS (Storage) server and an outbound mail gateway.

These applications use a few more ressources than the VDS images. Each Beta user can provision up to one application (either Multi-Tier or VDS). Ressources (CPU/RAM) for applications cannot be defined through the DMC right now. Please contact us if you need more ressources for your application.
